ABOUT
On October 26, 2016 a group of volunteers traveled to another province in China in hopes to rescue dogs from a slaughter truck. 25 dogs were rescued and sent to Beijing for treatment and rehabilitation. Over time many of these dogs found forever homes while a few are still awaiting their adoptive family.
This experience led to the start of AVFA. We are a motivated group of volunteers dedicated to the betterment of animals both in China and around the world.
WHAT WE DO
We focus on proactive efforts to prevent situations that may cause an animal to be abandoned or harmed while providing educational opportunities for the public regarding animal welfare.
